Academic Requirements

Applicants will normally be expected to hold ANY first or second class honours degree of a British university or equivalent but need not have management experience. They must however be able to demonstrate, at selection stage, a strong passion for and interest in business and management. University of Northampton admission procedures enable the admission of students with prior credit or experiential learning. As this PG qualification will attract professional practitioners and managers, students may be admitted on the basis of an assessment of meaningful and measurable prior learning or professional experience.

English Requirements

All University of Northampton programmes have English language requirements. 

Applicants must demonstrate their ability with a score of 60 or above (equal to IELTS 6.0) in Intermediate/EAP04 Advanced English for Academic Learning I.

Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL)

For applicants with relevant previous learning experiences or qualifications, UON in Singapore offers the opportunity to enter programmes from Year 2 onwards through APL. The following accreditations are recognised:

• Polytechnic Diploma Holder in the relevant of study from a local polytechnic in Singapore;

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma from private education institutions of Singapore with prior entry requirements as GCE ‘A’ level Examination or Equivalent in the Diploma Level;

• The transcript from your diploma course must demonstrate that you have read and passed the equivalents of essential University of Northampton modules. APL is approved by the university.
