The city is also home to iconic attractions like Marina Bay Sands, Sentosa Island, and the Gardens by the Bay, providing endless opportunities for exploration and relaxation. With a diverse cultural calendar featuring festivals, concerts, and international events, Singapore ensures students can experience a rich and exciting lifestyle alongside their studies.

Shopping: Who says that shopping can not be considered a National pastime? Singaporeans will take you by surprise, as this is just what it is in Singapore. The place is an extravaganza for shopping; there are around 250 shopping malls. The shops are open from 9 am to 10 pm, making it much easier for people to shop at their convenience. You can shop for designer clothing and casual clothes. The experience is varied and sometimes even surprising. Of all the places to visit, Orchard Road is a must-visit for good deals. Also, you must not miss the Great Singapore Sale when prices dive nose down. It is a treat for all the shopaholics.

Transportation: Travelling in Singapore is easy and economical. The best way to commute within the city is by taxis, buses or Mass Rapid Transit rail systems. Taxis are affordable and hassle-free for students. Finding a taxi would be fine as they are available outside every big shopping mall in well-marked taxi stands. Besides taxis, buses are equally helpful for ease of travelling as they are extremely frequent and comprehensive in terms of accessibility from anywhere at any time.

Food & Eating: Visitors are spoilt for choice in Singapore. The food is affordable for people from all walks of life- from hawker centres to stylish restaurants and top-class hotels. Singapore is also, in many ways, considered the Food Capital of Asia. Because of its multicultural heritage, you can expect a mélange of flavours to spoil your palette. Asian, Continental, Thai, Chinese, Malay, Korean Cuisine, and Peranakan are just a few examples. Phew! There is so much for delicious pastimes, including the Singapore Food Festival in July, held throughout the year.

Weather: The weather in Singapore is pretty humid. You will experience warm summer temperatures throughout the year. No distinct weather conditions in Singapore define a wet or dry spell. Rainfalls are experienced between November and January; these spells are usually sudden and heavy. The climate is considered tropical year-round due to its position close to the equator.
