Amity was delighted to welcome high school teachers, students and education partners from the Tohoku region in Japan to participate in an international English presentation competition hosted at our Singapore heritage campus.
Pitting themselves against teams from Amity Global Institute, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and the Singapore Institute of Management, the students gamely spoke on a wide variety of topics ranging from dealing effectively with natural disasters to proposals to boost agriculture in drought ridden countries and calls to end discrimination and prejudice in the world today.
Judging was based on the presenters’ fluency and presentation skills, quality of content, ability to deal with questions and overall composure. Much fun was had in this lively process of peer to peer learning.
