Amity Global Institute Celebrates Over 1,800 Graduates at the Prestigious Class of 2025 Ceremony in Singapore

Amity Global Institute (AGI) proudly celebrated the success of more than 1,800 graduates at its Class of 2025 Graduation Ceremony, held at the iconic Shangri-La Hotel Singapore — a venue renowned for hosting world leaders and global events. The celebration marked a significant milestone in AGI’s mission to nurture globally competent leaders ready to make an impact in today’s dynamic world.
The event was graced by Professor (Dr) Leon Choong, Regional CEO and Chief Academic Officer of Amity Global Institute, as well as ambassadors, university partners, distinguished guests, faculty, and proud families.
“Graduation is not an end, but a beginning,” said Professor (Dr) Choong. “Our graduates embody Amity’s mission of education without borders — a commitment to lifelong learning, global citizenship, and excellence.”
A Celebration of Academic Excellence
In the academic year 2024/25, Amity Global Institute conferred 1,838 awards, with 899 from its own programmes and 939 from partner universities. The institute achieved an 89% graduation rate, with nearly two-thirds of graduates earning top honours — a testament to its commitment to quality education and student success.
First-Ever Two-Day Graduation Ceremony
To celebrate its expanding global partnerships, Amity held its first-ever two-day graduation event:
Day 1: Teesside University graduates
Day 2: University of Northampton graduates
Both ceremonies began with a traditional bagpipe procession. They featured vibrant student-led performances, including a Tajikistan cultural dance and live music.
Global university leaders also shared their congratulatory messages, recognising Amity’s dedication to international collaboration and student empowerment.
