Change Management
The only thing that remains unchanged is change itself. Through this course, participants will be equipped with the concepts needed to effectively manage human resources in the context of organisational change. Participants will learn to apply the practical knowledge to handle the complexities involved in managing change and, develop the ability to handle challenges faced in change management.
Topics covered include:
- Introduction: Origins of change, driving forces for change, change Management process.
- Change Management Intervention: Intervention strategies to overcome barriers to change, design Change Management intervention programs using individual, group, and interpersonal process approaches in assessing employees’ interactions
- Resisting Change: Identify potential resistance to Change Management by examining the life cycle of change resistance.
- Communicating Change Management: Strategies for communicating the different stages of change, importance of leadership in Change Management in terms of envisioning, energizing and enabling roles, sustaining changes and making it permanent.
In this workshop, participants will learn:
- Utilise the skills to manage emotions of others during change process.
- Perform change management using change management theories.
- Understand change management concept and communication flow in change process.
