A day filled with pride, excitement, heartfelt celebrations and new beginnings! Amity Global Institute (AGI) proudly celebrates its Graduation Ceremony 2026 at the prestigious Shangri-La Singapore, bringing together graduands, families, distinguished academic leaders, university representatives and faculty members to honour an extraordinary journey of determination, perseverance and academic success.

With more than 1,450 students graduating in 2026, the occasion represents much more than the presentation of academic qualifications. It celebrates countless hours of dedication, challenges overcome, lifelong friendships and the beginning of promising new chapters.

From the ceremonial procession led by bagpipers to the proud moments of academic recognition, the graduation ceremony captures the spirit of achievement, international collaboration and the transformative power of education.

A Grand Celebration: Where Tradition Meets Academic Excellence

The ceremony begins with a magnificent procession into the ballroom led by bagpipers, creating an atmosphere of grandeur, tradition and anticipation.

As academic leaders and distinguished representatives make their ceremonial entrance, the occasion sets the stage for one of the most significant milestones in every student’s educational journey.

For the Class of 2026, this moment symbolises the culmination of hard work, personal growth and the unwavering support of families, lecturers and mentors.

The celebrations bring together graduands from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, including China, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan and more, reflecting AGI’s vibrant international learning community.

Every graduating student has a unique story. Together, their achievements reflect a shared commitment to learning, ambition and building a brighter future.

Celebrating achievements of Graduands Across Four International University Partnerships

A defining highlight of the 2026 graduation is the celebration of students graduating through AGI’s academic collaborations with four globally recognised universities:

The ceremony also celebrates students completing qualifications awarded by Amity Global Institute.

From business administration and international management to computing, artificial intelligence, data science and education, the graduating class represents a diverse range of academic disciplines relevant to today’s evolving professional landscape.

A Historic First for the University of East Anglia Partnership

The Class of 2026 marks a special milestone as AGI celebrates its first cohort of bachelor’s graduands from the University of East Anglia.

This achievement represents an important chapter in AGI’s academic journey and its commitment to providing students with access to internationally recognised educational pathways.

For the pioneering graduates, the occasion is particularly special as they become part of the first bachelor’s graduating cohort under this partnership.

Outstanding Academic Performance: A Testament to Student Dedication

Beyond the excitement of graduation, the Class of 2026 has another remarkable reason to celebrate: impressive academic performance across AGI’s university partnerships.

Reported module pass rates exceed 95% across three university partnerships, with graduate rates above 91%.

These figures highlight students’ dedication and the academic support provided throughout their learning journeys.

Behind every percentage is a story of determination: students balancing academic commitments with personal responsibilities, overcoming challenges, and continually striving to achieve their goals.

The results also reflect the importance of supportive teaching, academic guidance and a learning environment that encourages students to pursue excellence.

For AGI, academic achievement is not simply about passing examinations. It is about developing knowledge, confidence, critical thinking and the capabilities needed to embrace future opportunities.

The significance of Graduation Ceremony 2026 is further enhanced by the participation of senior academic leaders and representatives from AGI’s university partners.

A Message of Pride, Gratitude and Inspiration from AGI Leadership

Graduation is not only a celebration of academic success but also a moment to reflect on the people, experiences and opportunities that shape each student’s journey.

In his message to the Class of 2026, Professor (Dr) Leon Choong, Regional CEO (ASEAN) and Chief Academic Officer of Amity Global Institute, congratulated graduands on their accomplishments while acknowledging the invaluable support of families, faculty members, mentors and university partners.

Encouraging graduates to embrace their futures with confidence, curiosity and a commitment to lifelong learning, he shared a powerful reminder:

“At Amity, we believe in education without boundaries.”

Professor Freddy Boey, Chairman of the Advisory Board of Amity Global Institute, delivered an inspiring message to the Class of 2026, encouraging graduates to embrace a rapidly changing world with optimism, curiosity and confidence.

Drawing on his extensive experience in higher education and innovation, he highlighted the “Four I’s of Learning” — Institutional Learning, which builds a sense of belonging; Inspired Learning, which encourages curiosity and continuous growth; Interactive Learning, which emphasises collaboration and meaningful connections; and Innovative Learning, which inspires graduates to take risks, embrace challenges and learn from failure.

His message reminded graduates that success is not simply about what they already know, but their willingness to keep learning, connect with others and dare to explore new possibilities.

As he emphasised, failure is not the opposite of success, but an essential part of the journey towards achieving it.

Adding further inspiration to the celebration, Professor (Dr) Inderjit Singh Dhaliwal, Vice-Chair of the Amity Advisory Board, delivered a keynote address celebrating AGI’s remarkable year of growth and recognition, including the opening of its second campus at Orchard Gateway, the Singapore Business Review International Business Awards 2026 Higher Education Award, and its Company of Good 2026 recognition.

Drawing on his extensive experience in education, entrepreneurship and public service, he encouraged graduates to embrace three guiding principles: keep learning in an AI-driven world, value meaningful relationships, and use their success to uplift others.

His powerful message to the Class of 2026 was:

“The true measure of a person is not what they achieve for themselves, but what they make possible for others.”

Together, these inspiring messages reinforced AGI’s commitment to nurturing future-ready graduates equipped with the knowledge, resilience and values to make a meaningful difference in the world.

Another Landmark Year: Celebrating AGI’s Continued Growth

Graduation Ceremony 2026 takes place during an important period of development for Amity Global Institute.

Among the year’s key institutional milestones is the opening of AGI’s second campus at Orchard Gateway, which expands its learning facilities and supports the institution’s commitment to a modern, student-focused educational environment.

The campus expansion represents another step in AGI’s continued investment in educational infrastructure, academic delivery and the student experience.

Together with its globally recognised university collaborations and expanding academic offerings, this development reflects AGI’s ambition to create more opportunities for students to pursue their educational and professional aspirations.

For the graduating class, these institutional milestones provide another reason to celebrate their connection with a growing international academic community.

Inspiring Voices of the Class of 2026: Valedictorian Speeches

Two outstanding graduands delivered the most heartfelt addresses at Amity Global Institute’s Graduation Ceremony 2026.

Gulmahmadzoda Farzona, a BA (Honours) Global Communication with Business Management graduate from the University of East Anglia, shared her remarkable journey from Tajikistan to Singapore at just 16 years old. Lin Lin, a Master of Business Administration graduate from the University of London, reflected on the importance of perseverance, supportive educators, and lifelong learning, encouraging fellow graduates to keep growing and help others succeed.

Together, their heartfelt messages reminded the Class of 2026 that graduation celebrates not only academic achievement, but also the people, experiences, and determination that make success possible.
