Overview

Preparatory Course for Admission to Government Schools (Primary 3 – Intensive)

The Preparatory Course for Admission to Government Schools is specially designed for international students who want to participate in the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) to enter Primary 3 in Singapore Government Schools. Applicants seeking admission to a primary school must:

  1. Take the Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) test run by Cambridge Assessment English (CAE).
  2. Meet or exceed the required Cambridge English Scale (CES) score in the CEQ test before applying to take the AEIS-Primary Mathematics test.

Amity Global Institute prepares applicants to sit for both the English & Mathematics tests. Regular tests and examinations will be conducted to monitor applicants’ progress and to ensure they are well-prepared for the CEQ and AEIS centralised tests.

Depending on the applicants’ performance in the test, they will be offered a place in a local mainstream school.
