Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Operations Management
The Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Operations Management provides students with a strong academic and practical foundation to excel in the global hospitality and tourism industry. The programme integrates project management, sustainable tourism practices, enterprise development, marketing strategies, international business perspectives, and applied research methods. With a focus on industry relevance and experiential learning, students gain both theoretical insights and hands‑on experience through an industrial attachment or applied project, preparing them for leadership, operational, and managerial roles in diverse hospitality and tourism organisations.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the programme, students will be able to:

The Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Operations Management provides students with the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge in the interdisciplinary fields of Project Management for Hospitality and Tourism Industry; Creating Sustainable Environments; Enterprise and Practice; Marketing for Events, Hospitality and Tourism Management; International Business and Brand Management; Research Methods for Hospitality and Tourism Industry; and Industry Attachment / Project.

*Students who are ineligible for or unable to secure an industrial attachment will undertake the project option, with a maximum duration of three months, subject to the school’s approval
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Age Requirements
- Minimum 17 years old (based on date of birth) at point of course commencement
Academic Requirements
- – Polytechnic Diploma Holder in the relevant of study from a local polytechnic in Singapore
- – BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management
- – An approved Diploma or Advanced Diploma from private education institutions of Singapore with prior entry requirements as GCE ‘A’ level Examination or Equivalent (when admitted to qualifying Diploma).
- – Pass in Year 1 modules of Bachelor degree qualification with prior entry requirements (when admitted to qualifying Bachelors qualification) which is as follows: Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ Level Examination in the English medium and must have obtained at least two passes in subjects at H2 level with One H1 Level pass and attempted General Paper (GP) or Knowledge & Inquiry (KI).

English Language Requirement
Student must complete and obtained a Pass in English in high school. If English is not the medium of studies or learning in the high school or taken as a 2nd language, then the following requirements apply
- IELTS 6.0;
- An equivalent English language qualification

Mature Applicants
- Candidates who are at least 30 years of age with at least 8 years of working experience may apply for admission as Mature Applicants.
- To qualify as a mature applicant, you are required to submit a Personal Statement of not more than 200 words and 2 Referee Reports from at least one employer. Shortlisted applicants may be required to attend an interview.
Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL)
- Polytechnic Diploma Holder in the relevant field of study from a local polytechnic in Singapore
- An approved Advanced Diploma from private education institutions of Singapore with prior entry requirements as GCE ‘A’ level Examination or Equivalent in the Diploma Level in the relevant field of study
- Maximum credits for APL approval will not be greater than 50%
