Value Innovation with Blue Ocean Strategy aims to provide Entrepreneurs, Business Owners & Managers with a comprehensive understanding of the importance of value innovation in today’s competitive business environment. This intensive course develops the confidence and skills you need to drive strategic value innovation within your organisation. Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS) is based on a study of 150 strategic moves spanning more than 100 years and 30 industries. BOS is an advanced form of business strategy used by many successful companies as the principles discussed are current and highly relevant in today’s business environment. The cornerstone of BOS is Value Innovation. BOS offers a systematic and reproducible methodologies and processes, helping enterprises in their pursuit of innovation excellence and create new market space, thereby making the competition irrelevant. The course is designed to be industry-relevant, using real work challenges as case studies, for realistic contextualisation. Participants will be able to generate innovative business models through intense hands-on practice, group discussion and industry sharing among like-minded participants. You will learn to create and capture value using Blue Ocean Strategic tools such as the Strategy Canvass, the Four Action Framework, Strategic Pathways to re-construct market boundaries and create uncontested market space.
In this workshop, participants will learn:

- Generate innovative business models through intense hands-on practice, group discussion and industry sharing among like-minded participants
- Understand how to evaluate business models, its benefits and risks
- Creates, delivers, and captures value using Blue Ocean Strategic tools
- Discover pathways to Reconstruct Market Boundaries and create uncontested market space
In this workshop, participants will learn:
- Utilise these tools effectively to solve wicked/complex problems and embrace innovation
- Perform hands-on activities that facilitate understanding of the design thinking mindset
- Understand core concepts of design thinking i.e. empathy, brainstorming, prototyping and storytelling.
